KIDS TENTS & TEEPEES

I have wanted a teepee for the kids for ages and for Christmas this year they were lucky enough to receive one. They absolutely LOVE it and so do I. It’s the perfect space for playing, quiet reading, just sitting and chatting, quiet moments of cuddles and lots, lots more. They are also gorgeous which is a huge added bonus. The one we have (#3 & #5) is really roomy. Lots of room for both of the kids and me. The fabric is a thick cotton which breathes and having the little window in it really helps with ventilation.

Here are some photos of the teepee fun we’ve been having.

I thought I would have a look around and find some other options she might be interested in. She is a first year out primary teacher this year and is thinking of getting one for her classroom reading corner. Cute idea don’t you think?

This is also great if any of you are thinking of adding one to your home. Bookmark it and come back to it later when it’s Birthday time or you’re ready to add to the kids space.

So, here are 5 great kids tent & teepee options for you including the one we have…

5 great kids tent and teepees 1. Adairs Geo TeePee $99.95 (on sale) | 2. Papier D’Amour Tent $300.00 | 3. Lime Tree Kids TeePee $119.00 | 4. Mocka Playhouse $149.95 | 5. Mocka TeePee $99.00

Do you have a tent in your space at home? What tent would you add to this list? Aren’t they the cutest? Tempted, like me to get into them and curl up with a good book and a blanket?

So cute! I made one for our son when he was little and he loved it. Hubby made a large pyramid frame using Rio and I made a cover and cushion base in cheap, bright ginghams. We still use the frame as an outdoor xmas tree wrapped in a kazillion fairy lights!

What an absolutely fabulous teepee it would have been. I bet the kids would have loved it. I will file this away to remember to do with the kids when we’re next home on the farm visiting Mum and Dad. Jx
