And so begins another week… Happy Monday!

It’s a grey and wet day here in Sydney and I have a little lady with a temperature so we have been enjoying a quiet morning indoors.

Gotta love some painting and drawing time…

Drawing and Painting I did a smash and grab to Ikea on Saturday morning… 20 mins folks… that’s gotta be some type of record!? Even though I went in with 2 specific things to get I still managed to walk out with way more than I anticipated… one of those items were these kids brushes!! Perfect for little hands… We road tested them this morning and they’re a hit!!

Waterolours and New Ikea Brushes These beauties from the markets last week are sadly on the way out… I always feel a little sad when I have to throw flowers out… Weren’t they stunning though? This gorgeous patchwork of flowers just below are called Achillea. It is said Achilles’ soldiers wore the flower into battle as it was known for its healing properties. It is also commonly known as Yarrow. I just think it’s the prettiest bunch of flowers…

Achillea Dahlia's and Achillea I love a pop of colour in this corner. The bright pink of these dahlia’s make me smile every time I see them…

Dahlia's in Living Room I’m excited with my stack of fresh magazines and this book of quotes is the sweetest. I have already had a flick through and can’t wait for a quiet moment to have a longer read…

Magazines and Book Gotta love an indoor picnic. The kids love having picnics and get really excited when we have them. Such an easy and fun way to spend time indoors on a wet day…

Carpet Picnic What did your Monday look like?

Mine finished up with a trip to the Dr. with the little Miss. The poor little bubba is miserable and I have never seen her like it. Not sure what it is… hopefully just a virus that passes quickly. It’s so hard when they’re sick and they’re sad. I admit I love the extra cuddles but they can be hard when you have other children that need your attention and you’re trying to cook dinner. I stirred and even chopped with her on my shoulder this evening. I hope we have a good night and everyone gets some sleep. Speaking of sleep I’m off to bed to catch some z’s in anticipation of a rough night.

I hope you had a great start to the week? I’d love to hear about it.
